Seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support the Technology/ COO division of a large complex organisation as it undergoes a huge transformation to make the business fit for purpose and offer a strong customer centric approach. This makes it is an incredibly exciting and challenging environment for an HR professional looking to make an impact. They are seeking a commercial HR Business Partner who as supported technology as a function to support them through this change. They are also seeking to embed Agile Working into the organisation so experience of embedding this would be advantageous.


Key accountabilities for the role will be interpreting the business strategy into clear deliverables from a people strategy perspective, interfacing with the broader HR team and business functions as well as centres of excellence to drive out the HR initiatives amidst a background of transformation. The role will also be responsible for managing another HR Business Partner. You will ensure they are engaged appropriately to deliver the appropriate support in all areas including talent management, succession and development and leadership.


As an ideal fit for this role you will have the following experience:

  • Experience of having worked as an HR Business Partner within a complex, matrix organisation ideally supporting technology or within a technology firm
  • Ability to manage stakeholders internally and externally within a challenging environment and influence accordingly
  • Strong demonstrable experience of managing complex and large-scale transformation
  • Broad experience in all aspects of an HR Business Partnering role
  • Experience of managing and driving HR initiatives in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Demonstrable commercial and pragmatic approach to human capital solutions
  • High level influencing and communication skills

    • Proven SQL Skills including stored procedures, transactions, user defined functions, DB security management and design, SQL Server Reporting Services and advanced, cross server queries.

    • The ability to turn your hand to anything, manage your own workload and deliver - often to short deadlines.

    • Knowledge of the financial markets, broking and MIFID II, while not essential would be nice to have.

    • Demonstrated and effective communication skills in writing and verbally.

    • Open to innovative ideas/ experiences and ability to create new ideas, approaches or insights.

    • Understands ideas and has a viewpoint on the markets and economy.

    • Evidence of being comfortable working in fast paced or pressured environments.

  • UI Developer - React
    £750 - £775 per day + Hybrid working

    UI Developer

    Job Type: Contract - Inside
    Day Rate:
    £750-£775p.d
    Start Date:
    Flexible - ASAP - Feb 23
    Duration:
    6 months initial - Likely to extend

    We are currently recruiting a contractor for a major bank for an initial 6 month contract.

    Key Technical Skills:

    • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and HTML
    • Extensive experience of developing Web-based UIs with React
    • Experience of Python or a JVM based language desirable
    • Understanding of HTTP and REST based architectures
    • Experience working in a Financial Services, Banking environment or related is critical for this role

    Nice to have:

    • Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
    • Any experience with tools such as TeamCity, Kubernetes, OpenShift and Amazon Web Services would be beneficial.
    • Open and collaborative communication
    • Experience and aptitude of Agile and DevOps approaches – e.g. continuous integration, test automation, frequent releases, containerisation

    • Ability and willingness to take personal responsibility for timeliness and quality of delivery
    • Strong collaborative communication with business users and other technology teams
