Senior Java / Scala Developer – Technical Lead
Major Glasgow client currently require a number of Java or Scala Lead Engineers to create next generation solutions across their technology platform. This is an exciting project that will challenge the very best developers, and a rare opportunity for contractors who also have architecture and leadership aspirations. You will likely have tech experience across a variety of domains which will help you to solve complex technical problems using the very latest tools and methods. The roles will also see you providing technical leadership and strategic direction.
We’re keen to hear from candidates from both Java and Scala backgrounds. Ideal if you have both but specialists in either technology would be welcomed.
Essential experience includes:
- Strong core Java 8 experience
- Enterprise level development background
- Spring / Hibernate
- JSON / RESTful using Spring
Desirable:
- Any Scala skills are a big plus
