McGregor Boyall are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join our clients team based in Scotland.


This is a permanent opportunity and will form a key part of the transformation project delivery team and will initially be a remote position with adhoc visits to the office for team and client collaboration days.


We are keen to hear from experienced project managers that have a good working knowledge of public sector project management.

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
-Delivering the project within the agreed timeframe and budget
-Leading and managing the project team
-Managing and reporting to internal stakeholders
-Managing client relationships
-Financial management


To be considered for the role, we would love you to have the following experience and skillset:
-PM Assessment Level 2 or experience of level 2 projects.
-Excellent client facing skills
-Experience of running projects as a minimum between £100K - £500K
-Sound financial management
-Ability to lead internal and external stakeholders towards the overall delivery goal
-Forward thinking, problem solver who can work under pressure while maintaining status quo.


This is a permanent position that will initially officially offer remote working with adhoc days required on site for team and client collaboration days, moving to a hybrid model towards the end of summer.


The successful incumbent will be required to undergo security checks (Disclosure Scotland) which our client will arrange as part of their onboarding.

    Main Duties

    Job Purpose

    Are you an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer or infrastructure engineer with the ability to help us progress our journey into DevOps?

    We are looking for Azure Cloud Engineers at various levels to work in our Platforms team to help automate and provision environments across our platforms and to assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of our Azure environment. You will also help transition workloads from on premise to cloud.


    Essential experience working with Azure IaaS and PaaS in a DevOps capacity.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Design, planning and implementation of Azure cloud solutions with a core focus on automation and DevOps
    • You will lead and deliver projects that encompass systems architecture, proof of concept and deployment services
    • Be a subject matter expert and advisor to our IT development teams for best practices and best-fit solutions in Azure
    • You will help build and develop governance around Azure cloud solutions including networking, security and development pipelines
    • You will work on the transition of on premise workloads to Azure
    • You will work closely with our internal .Net developers and infrastructure personnel to strengthen Azure skills and knowledge
    • You will work closely with the Product Manager to ensure IT objectives are achieved

    Essential Skills and Attributes
