Senior Quality Engineer - Automation/Performance

£45000 - £65000 per annum

Leading Edinburgh based are currently looking to build out a new Agile Quality Engineering team at their city centre offices. These roles will be working across the full quality engineering life-cycle and will cover areas such as automation, performance and security testing. Predominantly hands on roles you should be very comfortable with in-depth experience in at least one of the following specialised test ares: Automation, Performance or Security.

You should also have experience in most of the following areas:-

  • Agile working practises
  • NFT testing tools (e.g. Cucumber, Selenium, Load Runner, Soap UI, Vega or Check Mark)
  • Testing Life-cycle
  • Senior technical or team leading experience

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Service Operations Specialist with AWS experience to join a global financial services client in London.

    You will provide 2nd and 3rd line operational management of the IT infrastructure and systems. You will support and develop a wide variety of systems and technologies including Enterprise AWS and On-Premise server environments, Virtualisation platforms, Authentication and Configuration management services.

    Prior IT operational support experience across business-critical Production infrastructure, applications and database services essential

    Pension & Benefits Manager who will become a trusted expert in Pension & Benefits for a very progressive and international brand.

    This role will play a key part in building a comprehensive pensions and benefits offering for its employees.

    Your experience will include expert knowledge of Pension Plans and Voluntary Benefits plans preferably from a large organisation or consulting.

  • Automation Test Engineer

    Globally renowned firm require a strong Technical Test Engineer to join their large team in the city. You'll be working on the testing and test automation development of APIs, Web Services and Microservices.

    Must have experience includes the following:-

    • Strong understadning of the design principles for automation frameworks
    • Previous API / Web Services test automation experience
    • SOAP and REST
    • Deep level of functional test experience including test planning, test coverage and defect tracking
    • Comfortable with the TDD and BDD framework
    • Skills in at least one programming language - in particular Python or Java or C#
    • CI / CD awareness including Jenkins / Bamboo pipelines

    Whilst the role will be remote based for the moment - the role will require you to be office based when circumstances allow should you must be able to committ to fully onsite (if and when circumstances dictate).

Software Test Engineers (Automation / Manual)


Innovative medical technology company are building our their Agile software test function and as such currently require a number of Software Test Engineers - both automated and manual. We're looking for passionate, dedicated testers who really understand the value of good testing to the software development process. You'll likely be interested in the latest technology and keep abreast of the up and coming test tools.


  • You'll be testing various new features of the software, with new additions to the product range all the time, enabling a smooth software release process.
  • Analysing requirements, spotting gaps, carrying out exploratory tests and communicating collaboratively with the development team.
  • On the automation side this is currently done using the likes of Python, Jenkins, Groovy and Qt. You'll have skills in many of these tools and an interest in learning new skills.
  • Using the likes of JIRA and JAMA to organise and track tests

We're looking for most of the following experience & skills:-

  • We're looking for software testers with 2-10yrs experience
  • Python / Jenkins / Groovy experience for automating tests
  • Testing across Windows, Linux and Embedded platforms
  • Ideally you'll have worked with embedded systems, firmware or hardware but it's not essential
  • Passionate about software quality
  • Positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
  • As we're looking to build a sizeable team we're also keen to hear from candidates from any applied science, medical technology or biochemistry background.
