Senior Software Engineer – Office-based OR Partial or Fully Remote

Senior Software Engineer sought by a leading software house with an excellent international reputation and customer base, as they continue to build upon the successes of over 15+ years of continuous growth. They’re a well-known name in their sector, with a number of accolades both for the business, and their products alike. They’re a tight-knit and creative team, based out of new, modern offices, and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help steer the future of their systems.

They’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience in Java, C#, Python or similar OOP language, with good knowledge of front-end technologies, as well as solid experience of back-end development, and experience of developing workflows. The Senior Software Engineer will be part of a tight-knit team, where they’ll really get the chance to make their own mark within the company.

The ideal Senior Software Engineer will have;

  • Excellent experience with Java, C#, Python or similar
  • Excellent Front End Experience; including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and framework knowledge with React, Angular, Vue.js or similar
  • Excellent experience with supporting multiple web systems, developing workflows, and designing databases
  • Knowledge of AWS, or other cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of SOLID design principals
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, particularly in liaising with different teams

    Highly experienced Solution Architects required for major programme of work covering areas like new applications, systems and platform integration. Must have strong core architecture skills and be able to develop solutions end to end in a large enterprise environment.

    I am seeking a highly commercial HR Business Partner to shape and lead the people agenda within a fast paced organisation operating within the FMCG/Retail sector. The organisation is currently in a transformative state and is looking for a cutting-edge HR Business Partner to support the business as it undergoes change.

    Critical requirements will include:

    • Business Partner the leadership team to help define their functional strategy
    • Develop and deliver a People Plan with the business area leadership which outlines achievable/ prioritised initiatives to improve measurable results.
    • Future proof the organisation with the right skills and capabilities by advising business leaders and agreeing activities for acquisition, succession, retention, early career and high potential development designed to improve business performance.
    • Act as a strategic partner to work with business leaders to deploy HR initiatives within their business area. Perform the lead role in culture, organisation design and effectiveness and change management.
    • Utilise data analytics to identify trends and drive business critical decisions
    • Work in a highly collaborative way to engage the business in critical initiatives on the people agenda.



    Experience & Skills

    • Proven experience of working as an HR Business Partner within a large complex organisation with multiple stakeholders, including matrix relationships.
    • Extensive experience of driving a people agenda in a transformative environment
    • Communicates, challenges and influences a variety of stakeholders with an ability to build constructive relationships in a culturally diverse environment.
    • Systemic approach to problem solving and able to convert proposals and ideas into a practical reality.
    • Adaptable to changing business needs and understand commercial drivers.
