For our client in Amsterdam we are actively seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Senior Trade Desk Specialist. Individual must be extremely dependable and self-motivated with excellent communication skills and learning agility. Experience in technical support and customer service positions desired.

Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Trade Desk Specialist’s role is to provide senior-level support answering questions and resolving participant issues related to trading, market data and technology
  • Support day to day associated tasks with operations, trade support and oversight over live Production trading systems. This includes handling inbound calls and email traffic for the Trade Desk, as well as monitoring all trading, reporting and market data systems proactively
  • Serve as an escalation and coordination point during Production critical incidents, and will oversee the full issue resolution lifecycle including communication to market participants and vendors
  • Manage the Trade Desk in the absence of the Operations Manager, will be expected to contribute new ideas to improve operational efficiency, and may help lead on project based work

Requirements:

  • Strong previous experience having supported Futures & Options required
  • Equivalent of Bachelor’s Degree
  • FIX protocol proficiency preferred. Experience of monitoring and support of production mission critical trading and market data systems preferred
  • Customer on-boarding experience preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Windows and Linux experience preferred
  • SQL proficiency preferred
  • Bash or Python scripting experience preferred

These roles are predominantly within the Banking sector and our clients require Senior Data Engineers who have solid experience migrating from on prem Hadoop to Cloud (AWS, GCP).

    The salaries for these roles range from £75k base to £90k base and they all come with an excellent benefits package and bonus potential. Remote working is expected to start with and will be an option in the long run also.

    Key skills/experience required:

    I am seeking an experience HR Administrator for a permanent role in a fast paced client within the financial services sector. This role will be supporting the HR function on all HR Administrative aspects for the 200 strong business and the successful candidate will highly organised and efficient.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the full onboarding and offboarding process.
    • Maintain and develop HR databases encompassing the full employee lifecycle.
    • Assist with the documentation for transfers, employment and those leaving the company.
    • Retain employee records and ensure they are updated.
    • Support the team with any projects and advise on HR queries
    • Provide support with the recruitment process.
