They're seeking an experienced and passionate Service Desk Analyst to provide seamless, professional and timely customer service skills. This involves engaging with a diverse user base by phone and email, to ensure that any incidents, problems and changes are managed through to resolution in a professional manner. The role will includes assisting with the achievement of SLA’s via coordinating resolver groups updates and activities.

Our client is looking for a Service Desk Analyst to log and manage incidents, problems and changes through to resolution via coordination with the resolver groups. You will also be assisting with service improvement initiatives.

You'll obviously have a good understanding/experience of a Service Desk logging system, Microsoft Office applications, ITIL disciplines and excellent analytical skills and the ability to write process documentation that is clear and concise.

  • Fixed Income- Build, Release, Testing, Configuration- Contract
    £550 - £650 per day

    I am currently looking for a Build, Release, Testing, and/or Configuration Management to join a top investment bank based in London. The role will be a contract role and will be working on a new Fixed Income related project within the business.

    Key Responsibilities:

    We are looking for a technical, hands-on specialist to handle aspects of the testing and release process, and help improve our automated build, release, integration and testing infrastructure for the pricing and risk modelling libraries. The successful candidate will help to maintain and improve the build, test and configuration automation covering the entire lifecycle across several million lines of C , java, and scala source code.

    Skills and Experience:

    Experience as a build and release, testing, and/or configuration management engineer in Linux/ Windows.
    Experience with build tools including premake, make, jenkins, visual studio, ant, gradle & build acceleration tools such as Incredibuild & distcc and ccache
    Experience with perforce and git (other SCM systems also ok) including writing of customised scripts (eg in python) for tasks such as promotion and propagation, and standard code quality tools such as sonar, cpplint
    Development experience in java or C so as to be able to drop into scala or c development at any time for example to conduct code mergers or modify tests

    Contract (Initial 6 months with scope to extend)

    Location- London

    £550-£650 per day

  • eFX Test Analyst- FX Pricing- Banking- Contract- London- £600pd
    £500 - £600 per day

    I am currently looking for an eFX Test Analyst (FX Pricing) to join a top investment bank based in London. The role will be a contract role and will be working on a new project within the business.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Design and execute high-quality test cases based on accurate business requirements analysis.

    Maintain a testing structure to facilitate future additions / amendments and ongoing execution.

    Troubleshoot QA environments, diagnosing and resolving issues prior to formal testing.

    Perform root cause analysis of issues to assist in determining the source of problems.

    Have extensive experience in using test automation frameworks and tools to automate AngularJS, React front-end applications using Web Sockets.

    Should be able to maintain and enhance existing java cucumber framework and contribute to the automation test scripts as needed.

    Skills and Experience:

    Experienced eFX Test Analyst

    Possess an understanding of FX Pricing and trading (very important)

    Have extensive experience in using test automation frameworks and tools to automate AngularJS front-ends and WebSockets back-ends.

    Have experience working within the investment or wholesale banking industries.

    Demonstrate a strong general knowledge of banking business systems and a deep understanding of FX flows from front to back office systems.

    Understand how to interact with KDB in order to extract data.

    Possess proven UNIX skills

    Contract (Initial 6 months with scope to extend)

    Oracle Data Warehouse Engineer

    My client, a tier 1 investment bank is currently looking for an experienced Oracle Data Warehouse Engineer to join their team.

    The successful candidate must have experience in:

    • Excellent knowledge of Oracle 11gR2 PL/SQL, SQL
    • Experience as Oracle PL/SQL developer, developing ETL code to load data warehouse
    • Understanding of data-warehouse concepts (e.g. fact tables, dimension tables, SCD, etc.)
    • Understanding of Oracle features
    • Experience in dimensional modelling
    • Experience using data modeling tools
    • Experience in designing ETL processes
