Service Desk Manager – ITIL / Windows

My client, based in Manchester, is currently recruiting for a Service Desk Manager on a permanent basis. As the Service Desk manager you will be responsible for managing a small team of service desk technicians responsible for supporting users across a number of UK sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all issues are raised, logged and resolved to reduce repeat user issues
  • Monitoring and analysis of the service desk performance
  • Driving improvements within the service desk team
  • Liaising with external parties where necessary
  • Developing IT inductions for new staff members

Experience:

  • Have excellent IT Knowledge
  • Be experienced working in a team leader/management capacity
  • Understand the requirement to manage a successful service desk
  • Have knowledge and experience of problem management
  • ITIL Certified

Technical Analyst – CRM

My client is currently recruiting for a Technical Analyst on a permanent basis in Manchester. As the Technical Analyst you will review and allocate IT requests received across the business and be required to work closely with the wider IT department, acting as an interface between the IT department and the rest of the business to support successful business solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical analysis for systems including business impact analysis, writing support documentation and implementation support
  • Support and review defect tickets in accordance with the defect life cycle
  • Support the problem management process through identifying repeat incidents, raising and investigating problems and known errors, working with other IT teams when needed
  • Support the service introduction process through attending meetings and workshops, documenting work instructions and training other team members in the use and support of new services as directed
  • Investigate and analyse complex technical system and operational processes and produce as-is and to-be process maps for stakeholder and technical use

Desired experience:
