Service Desk Specialist Role

6 Month Contract

Belfast

Our client is looking to fill four Service Desk Specialist Roles based in Belfast. This position is an integral part of their Customer Operations function which works on a global scale. You will be responsible for supporting up to 19,000 plus users, with over 25,000 desktops, laptops and Corporate mobile devices.

You will be required to provide both a 1st line support resolution over the phone alongside 2nd line incident management techniques.

This Service Desk currently provides coverage 24/7 from Sunday to Friday and implements a follow the sun model between Belfast and San Antonio. This means that some shift work will be required.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Microsoft Qualifications
  • One years’ Service Desk Experience
  • ITIL Qualifications
  • Helpdesk/Call management systems
  • VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
  • Citrix

The role is accountable for the delivery of business value to their key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities and experience with AWS and preferably Big data.
