Global client is looking for passionate and motivated Site Reliability Engineers to work with the latest cutting-edge technology. We are looking for technical visionaries who will understand the future landscape for software development, Devops and big data/ data science. Working with a variety of global labs you will be maintaining a series of clusters on both physical boxes and containers, as well as deploying and managing distributed systems on Linux/Unix. Fluency in at least 1 scripting language is a must - ideally Python but Bash/Shell will also be welcome.


Skills Required (Most of the following)

  • Scripting language knowledge (Python/Bash/Shell/Powershell, Perl)
  • Messaging or streaming technologies in production exposure e.g. Kafka
  • Docker/OpenShift and Cloud Platforms
  • Demonstratable site reliability experience working in scalable deployments
  • Desirable skills - Active MQ, Apache Spark.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage AV supplier vendor relations. Structure, facilitate and manage global procurement agreements for products and services
    • Manage the deployment of Multimedia projects and assist in the detailing of all the areas of the business that need to be brought together under the Multimedia remit.
    • Develop the project scope and the touch points across projects identifying the required resources for each project stream.
      Deliver a high standard of service in accordance with the SLAs for the Collaboration Technology deliverables

    Skills:
