The role:

Purpose: The purpose of this role is to provide technical leadership in designing scalable cloud-based and on-premises solutions, supporting the delivery of IT-enabled change that meets business outcomes. The role will be instrumental in shaping the delivery of our rapidly evolving digital solutions landscape.

Key Accountabilities

• Work with the Lead Architects to deliver solutions aligned to existing and evolving design patterns

• Engage with the all architecture domains to ensure that designs are compliant to existing [and flexible in aligning to future] design patterns

• Contribute towards the on-going refinement of existing technology and solution building blocks

• Engage with internal and external technical and business stakeholders, to refine architecturally significant requirements and align proposed solutions to business and technology roadmaps

• Engage with system integrator’s design leads, ensuring that the delivery is aligned to the agreed architecture

• Support the project Design Authority Group and Design clinics in making key project-centric and strategically aligned design decisions

• Provide a watching-brief across the entire project’s delivery lifecycle

The requirements:


• 2+ years hands-on experience in designing highly performant solutions in AWS or Azure

• Awareness of modern Web development frameworks and technologies: Native mobile, PWAs, Responsive apps, React, Gatsby

• Awareness of Micro service and Service Oriented Architecture design patterns

• Experience in designing solutions with ESBs, RESTful APIs and SOAP integrations

• Sound understanding of cloud infrastructure design is desirable, particularly serverless technologies - Kubernetes containers / Docker, Lambda, S3, Azure Functions,

• Digital Technologies: Content Management, Marketing, Automation, E-commerce, Payment gateways, Cookie Management & GDPR compliance

• Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps best practices: Team Foundation Server, GitFlow, CI/CD, SAST, DAST

• Awareness of API design and security patterns

• HND, BSc degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science

  • Cloud Support Engineer (Dublin)

    We are working exclusively with one of the most revolutionary tech companies in Dublin today!

    They are scaling rapidly and looking for Cloud Support Engineers on a permanent basis.

    As a Cloud Engineer, You will be supporting channel availability on a 24x7 basis for the cloud-native technology platform for one of their dedicated lines of business.

    As this is a Cloud Support Engineer position, day to day, you will be expected to -

    • Supporting the platform on a day to day basis

    • Supporting change development and delivery through the CI/CD pipeline

    The role

    The company are expanding their cloud division and looking for DevOps Engineers to be part of their journey.

    As a DevOps Engineer, You will design and build cutting-edge infrastructure, cloud-based software products running on AWS (Amazon Web Services). You will also need knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform.

    The responsibilities

    • building and setting up new development tools and AWS infrastructure.
    • understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers.
    • working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
    • testing and examining code written by others and analysing results.
    • Work closely with key stakeholders to capture, analyze, and derive DevOps requirements
    • Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling


    • DevOps Engineer background (or something similar)

    • AWS cloud experience (Amazon Web Services) - Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, Redshift, VPC, IAM etc
