Solutions Architect- Systems Integration, TOGAF, SOA, CRM, Applications, Java, APIs, SDLC, DDD, Web Services, Microservices- Permanent- Cheshire

A key player in their respective field are looking for a Solutions Architect to join one of their core technical teams as they continue with planned growth in the business area, to support the strategic development initiatives of the organization. This is an ideal role if you are an already experienced Solutions Architect, who is looking to work across large scale, end to end solutions, from both the technical hands on and enterprise level perspectives. It provides a great opportunity for you to work in a predominantly hands on role, using your technical expertise, while also influencing technical strategy at a higher level.


  • Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level in a relevant discipline such as Software Engineer, Computer Science or IT, or possessing equivalent professional qualifications in a relevant industry
  • At least 4 years experience in a Solutions Architect role, with a focus on applications and technical systems, such as CRM solutions
  • Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or Zachman
  • Experience working in a domain driven environment, delivering resilient and scalable architectural solutions
  • Previous experience taking ownership of end to end solutions architecture programmes, or delivering key pieces of systems integration solutions architecture
  • Understanding of Java and streaming APIs to support architectural patterns and web services
  • Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Domain Driven Design
  • A background understanding of microservices architecture and messaging/middleware technology would be beneficial


  • Provide expertise across a range of technologies and business areas, to support excellence in complex solutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert in one element of technology, such as CRM systems, microservices, applications, middleware or similar
  • Design technical solutions on the basis of stakeholder requirements, and act as an adviser to bridge the gap between business and technical needs
  • Presents new ideas to the business, making strategic recommendations into how the architectural estate road map should look moving forward
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from across a range of different teams, to champion a more cohesive and integrated set of solutions
  • Design and implement new governance initiatives to control complex programmes of work
  • Deliver high quality technical solutions in line with best practices to drive the wider aims of the group

  • Test Analyst (Regulatory Reporting)- Investment Bank- Contract
    £500 - £550 per day

    I am currently looking for a Test Analyst (Regulatory Reporting) to join a top investment bank based in London. The role will be a contract position working on a new project within the organisation.

    This will be a Test Analyst role within Regulatory Reporting, subject matter expert on Regulatory reporting for EMIR/MIFIDII including Asset class knowledge for Rates, Commodities, Equities, LD, Cash Equities, FX & Credit.


    Responsible for creation, execution and maintenance of Test Requirements, Test plans, Test Cases in the Test Repository

    ALM and Jira updates.

    Responsible for creating testing requirements from the regulations.

    Drive changes in test processes to improve productivity and efficiency.

    Excellent communications skills to report status and progress updates to Senior Management in QAPM, Development/ Operations teams as required.

    Desired Skills:

    Experienced Test Analyst

    Regulatory Reporting (MIFIDII) knowledge with working in the Financial Industry

    Excellent test analysis skills (Ideally - ISEB Software Tester or equivalent)

    Experience with the Linux, SQL & DB2

    Familiar with Backend Testing Solutions using Python / Perl / JS / Java / Saturn

    Exposure to BDD (JBehave / Cucumber/ Fitness / Concordion) - Concordion & Saturn are currently in use in this area


    £500- £550 per day

  • Entity Control Accountant - Practice Background Required
    £50000 - £60000 per annum

    My client, a large Financial Services company, is looking to hire a Legal Entity Controller to join their Central Finance team. The role will include in depth review / analysis of statements from the company's various entities, as well as the resolution of technical issues on an ad hoc basis.

    Applicants must be from a practice background and must be qualified accountants. Would suit a recently qualified accountant looking for the next step into industry with a reputable FS institution.

    Key Duties

    • Monthly / Quarterly reporting on respective entities
    • Production of statutory accounts for entities liaison with auditors
    • Assist in management of FX Exposure with regards to entities
    • Review Intercompany allocations, recharges and transfer pricing processes
    • Accurate daily cash break review
    • Ensure strong control environment is maintained
    • Ensure preparation of, and review, all consolidations. Escalate to management where necessary
    • Assist in the liquidation of unnecessary entities
    • Skills / Competencies required:

    Qualifications / Skills

    • A background in a top 10 accounting firm
    • Relevant Accounting qualification
    • Strong technical accounting skills understanding of statutory accounting
    • Strong academics
    • Strong eye for process improvement
    • Strong IFRS / UK GAAP knowledge
    • Excellent written / verbal skills

    The role:

    The Data Scientist will build the next generation of data science applications & tools. You will be working with data applications, leveraging the latest analytics techniques, technology, innovation and development methodologies.

    Key Skills
