Solutions Consultant

Our banking client is looking to recruit a Solutions Consultant as they are embarking on a number of initiatives to improve access security, one being the introduction of a new secure privileged access solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering solutions to internal customers, including database consolidation, implementation, and application integration with focus on architectural services
  • Defining and implementing a strategic road map to mitigate identified audit and corporate risks, implementing standards and best practices and adhering to corporate & policy requirements
  • Reporting and articulating the strategy, milestones, roadmap, challenges, opportunities and progress of the delivery to programme management stakeholders
  • Identifying and managing the information security risks, issues, limitations, dependencies and assumptions that affect the organisation, strategy and the delivery
  • Designing and managing information security controls with ongoing monitoring and reporting methods to identify and manage threats, vulnerabilities and risks arising from business processes and use of technology

Required Skills:

  • Strong, relevant experience in management of information security
  • Solid experience in IT in large corporate environments, specifically in Financial Services
  • Previous exposure to senior level decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Excellent knowledge of the SSH protocol is mandatory
  • Excellent knowledge and proven experience of the regulatory controls and compliance such as SOX, MAS, US-FRB, ISO27001, NIST
  • Proven knowledge and experience with PKI concepts and the SSH protocol
  • Previous experience as a Security and Infrastructure Architect within the financial industry is a must
  • BSc degree or relevant qualification / practical experience

    My client is an investment bank in London and is investing heavily in their core banking platform which covers Equities, Fixed income & FX, as well as Research. They have around 30 positions ranging across AVP and VP hires.

    Their platform is Java based, but as they have 30 projects on the go, some are full stack, or more orientated around web/UI technologies such as; Angular JS, JS, React, HTML, J2EE, and some Python. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies such as Kotlin and Erlang and be involved in projects that are heavily relied on by the business and stakeholders.
