McGregor Boyall have been appointed to support one of our fastest growing clients to hire C# Software Engineers to work within their Software Development Team to be permanently based in Oxford.


Our client are a Leading UK Software Development Consulting Practice in Oxford. Based just outside the city center so excellent transport links by Rail or Bus and also free parking onsite.

Our client are rapidly expanding, they're one of the fastest growing tech firms in the region, are a great cohesive team, have built and are continuing to deliver a fantastic company culture and have an incredible portfolio of FTSE 100 & 250 level clients within the Financial Services & Insurance Sector.

In partnership with these key clients they're delivering both existing and greenfield Software Development projects / programmes across a number of areas inclusive of business process management, financial and pricing management, data, BI, reporting and CRM.

The business are a Microsoft .Net specialist software business working with best in class .Net and SQL Server/BI technologies.

The Role

They're seeking C# Software Engineers to join their Software Development team to work in partnership with their client facing consultants where you will be involved with the full software development lifecycle helping deliver software development projects, working to both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Dependent on the project.

The client have a number of projects in process currently to get involved in but are specifically looking to grow as they have new projects that need delivering for their key client partners.

Key skills:

  • Data Administrator
    £250 - £380 per day

    Data Administrator

    Our client, a financial services group is seeking an experienced Data Administrator to join the team based in the London.

    Major duties and responsibilities of the job

    • Analyze data collected from clients and 3rd party sources to isolate and resolve discrepancies.
    • Maintain a single data source which underpins the application and other future services.
    • Identify enhancements with a newly defined data administration process with the intention of 1) reducing potential for data discrepancies impacting clients and 2) streamlining the data administration process.
    • Work with Sales, Analytics, Product Management, On boarding, ETL, App Support, and IT Admin in accordance with the “Client Data Administration Process”.
    • Manage a minimum of two Data Administration resources responsible for supporting analysis, reconciliation, and maintenance of data.
    • Engage with clients, custodians, and third party providers as needed to resolve questions on data discrepancies.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Competencies required for successful job performance

    • Expert level knowledge of SQL (SQL-92 or variants e.g. T-SQL, PL/SQL)
    • Advanced Excel, proficient MS Office
    • Strong analytical skills and experience
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

    Essential Qualifications

    Experience, education and any certifications as necessary for successful job performance

    • IT, Mathematical, Computer Science, Economics or similar analytical subject
    • Degree (desirable)

  • Senior Service Management Analyst
    £55000 - £62000 per annum Benefits

    The Role:

    • Future contract schedules in the area of service management which are capable of delivering excellent outcomes for a future scheme as well as managing to balance customer goals and commercial impacts
    • Expert analysis and recommendations on issues related to the company’s requirements.
    • Preparing internal papers for submission to internal decision forums, whilst using briefing papers and discussion documents to generate appropriate decision making within the programme


    • Demonstrable experience of product design and/or delivery in the pensions or financial services sector
    • Practical experience of solution or process design
    • Experience of defining requirements for service-based contracts
    • Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to critically analyse issues, consider options and develop recommendations based on solid reasoning
    • Demonstrable evidence of delivering creative solutions to complex problems
    • Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

    £550 - £650 per annum

    My leading financial services client are looking to bring on an IT Portfolio Manager to join a group portfolio of work driving enhancements and global performance.

    Candidates should have:

    • Extensive banking experience within portfolio management and driving portfolio performance.
    • Experience providing control, governance and tracking of multiple projects and high level status reporting across portfolios.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
    • Proven ability to maintain standards and processes across a portfolio.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Excellent grasp of MS Office Suite of tools - (Experience with Clarity)
