My client within the IT Security industry is looking for a strong HR Advisor to support their business. You will be solely responsible for the HR function.

Duties include:

  • Build relationships with services to promote our HR services and effectiveness
  • To provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on all operational HR issues (including recruitment, discipline, grievance, performance management, HR policies and procedures and employment legislation and HR best practice).
  • Ensure Employee Relations activity is recorded accurately through our Case Management System
  • To contribute to the development of HR guidance and processes
  • To provide guidance and information on national Agenda for Change terms and conditions and local HR agreements.
  • Support HR Business Partners in the preparation of Tribunal and Employee Relations paper work
  • To deliver policy launches and HR update seminars thereby ensuring both staff and managers understand current policies, procedures and practice.
  • To work with customers to promote equality and diversity, in the recruitment, management and development of staff.
  • To prepare reports on any aspect of Human Resources management for presentation at meetings

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Generalist HR knowledge base and experience
  • Continuing professional development, taking ownership and accountability for staying up to date / professionally registered with the CIPD
  • Sound understanding of HR policies and procedures and employment legislation
  • Excellent writing, report writing and presentation skills; capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely and accurately for diverse audience
  • Skills for communication on complex matters and difficult situations, requiring persuasion and influence.
