My client is a global organisation operating within the oil & gas sector. They are seeking an interim Programme Manager for Resourcing and HRIS initially for 6 months to support their organisation in West London/Surrey. This role acts as a pivotal interface between resourcing teams and the technology that underpins the organisations resourcing efforts. Huge importance therefore is placed on the ability to understand the needs of the Resourcing teams but also their current technological landscape, along with anticipating & advising on future state. Ongoing consideration of new products and emerging solutions will be essential to achieve success.

The ability to effectively attract, source, assess and hire the best talent in today's market is of acute importance to the business. This position is therefore critically associated to that goal and has a direct impact on the organisations global resourcing effectiveness.

Accountabilities

  • External tech landscape - Understands the technical landscape (relating to specific resourcing lifecycle), seeks council from other early adopters, competitor and technology consultancies. Champions new resourcing technologies
  • Stakeholder consultancy - Understands, supports and advises the resourcing team in all areas of recruitment technology to maximise the ROI of individual tech solutions and to enhance the Business Partner's ability in the resourcing process
  • Partnering with senior resourcing leader(s) - Builds a close working relationship with resourcing leader responsible for element of resourcing lifecycle, anticipating requirements and providing fast and effective service
  • Product Experimentation - Works with suppliers and internal teams to test new products to understand suitability and how these may be implemented within the recruitment lifecycle
  • Vendor Management - Manages and engages with existing suppliers to fully understand product offerings, roadmaps and future concepts. Works to provide feedback and influence future design
  • Project Management - Consults with resourcing teams to understand the need for change (or advises of such need) and progress to manage stakeholders, technical support, team colleagues, other related systems and testing through project level activities
  • Change management - Manages all elements of change relating to area of resourcing. Drives discussion among affected teams and pushes for agreement to proceed. Manages expectations and timeframes relating to change requests
  • Minor-Medium configuration changes - Carries out configuration changes not deemed to be of major technical structural status
  • Testing of change requests - Manages all testing and signs off on a functional change prior to release to resourcing teams to complete testing

Essential/Desirable

  • Degree educated (or equivalent)
  • Deep recruiting background
  • Deep recruitment product/tool technical knowledge
  • Understanding of HRIS/Recruitment systems (including Kenexa Brassring)
  • Significant stakeholder engagement experience
  • Project management (PRINCE2, PMP)
  • Ability to identify technological solutions
  • Problem solving skills
  • Change management experience including use of different methodologies
  • Excellent communication skill - both written and verbal
  • Deep Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Visio experience
