My client is a global Oil & Gas firm that are seeking a Resourcing Modernisation Programme Manager for 12 months minimum £500-£550 per day. The primary purpose of the role is to design, develop, and deliver modern resourcing processes required to fully utilize technology and deliver the necessary talent to the organisation. In addition to working closely with the other Resourcing work-stream leads and the Resourcing Modernisation director, you will partner with the HR Modernisation team to simplify and align our new modern processes. This will be a great opportunity to make an impact on the Resourcing Function and learn more about the broader HR Agenda.

You must have: Strong Resourcing knowledge, led a process simplification effort, experience of a complex organisation.

Key Accountabilities

  • Gather process requirements across all hiring types (professional, graduates, hourly, etc.) and regions
  • Utilize requirements to recommend the number and type of resourcing processes required to meet business needs
  • Support process standardization across regions/segments wherever possible (Utilizing Lean Principles and Design Thinking)
  • Provide Technology lead the key technology requirements based on process outputs
  • Understand HR Modernisation process requirements and incorporate into proposed design
  • Align proposed resourcing processes with Signature Talent Management, Controlled Org, Client Solutions and Global Job Catalogue processes
  • Identify and escalate key risks and opportunities regarding process redesign to Project Director
  • Identify key change management implications and work with change management lead to build an effective change management plan
  • Provide recommendations regarding implementation phasing/timing
  • Investigate and incorporate external best practice into design

Essential Experience

  • Deep functional recruiting experience - in-depth knowledge of resourcing processes (internal and external best practices)
  • Experience evaluating processes and driving efficiency/effectiveness
  • Ability to think progressively about the methodology to define processes and the processes themselves
  • Experience working with multiple parties (including external partners) to deliver results
  • Resilience and flexibility to succeed in a fast paced and demanding programme environment, including the ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work across the HR function and with different levels of employees

Preferred Criteria

  • Previous Global Project experience
  • LEAN Methodology experience
