I am seeking an experienced Workday Services Transition Lead on behalf of my client within the Oil & Gas sector. They are looking for someone to support the organisation on a 12-month interim contract. The Workday Services Transition Send Lead is required to have worked in a Workday implementation programme. They will be responsible for working with workstream leaders and subject matter experts across multiple programme workstreams. They will provide strategic advice and leadership for the transition activity and workstream.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for guiding countries through implementation, Go-Live and post Go-Live until the transition to HR Services is complete
  • Work with the countries and HR Services to determine readiness for handover to HR Services
  • Managing counties acceptance and handover after implementation and sustainability
  • Plan, develop and execute the knowledge transfer approach, plan and deliverables
  • Plan, develop and execute the Employee Relations approach, plan and deliverables
  • Support all of the transition activities during the Service Rehearsal testing
  • Lead and manage individual stream in delivering milestones according to plan
  • Responsible for managing and mitigating all RAID items for the workstream
  • Support and drive as required transition related activities for the countries
  • Develop transition plan and run book for handover of each country
  • Provide checklists and acceptance criteria for handover
  • Progress tracking on transition and handover

Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience of implementing Workday across an organisation with a good knowledge of the Workday suite of products (essential)***
  • Experience and knowledge of project management methodology (essential)***
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (essential)
  • Strong English writing skills (essential)
  • Experience of interacting with stakeholders at all levels; ability to understand the audience and tailor the level of interaction accordingly (highly desirable)
  • Experience of dealing with multiple countries and cultures (highly desirable)
  • Experience of HR systems (very useful)
  • Knowledge of HR systems and processes within a large, complex, multi-national organisation (very useful)
