MG129 - Shopper Marketing Manager – Maidenhead

6 Month Contract

One of the largest consumer health and pharmaceutical companies is looking for a Shopper Marketing Manager to drive the business through effective engagement and conversion of shoppers at the point of purchase.

The role collaborates closely with Product Managers and external partners to ensure the brand delivers on the company’s customer interaction excellence ambitions and sales targets. The role is also integrally involved in company-wide initiatives to improve standards of digital marketing activities across the key medical brands.

The Shopper Marketing Manager is part of a wider team of 7 team members. Their overall responsibility is to:

  • Deliver shopper executions which reflect the shopper’s needs and are strategically tailored across the path to purchase.
  • Develop and translate customer and shopper insights into creative impactful activation to be implemented across channels.
  • Jointly build UK customer / channel specific Shopper Marketing plans to deliver category / brand solutions and deliver against the UK National Activity Plan.
  • Develop and translate customer and shopper insights into differentiated co-marketing opportunities with specific UK customers / channels.

Experience Required:

  • Experience in in-store communications and trade/retail marketing required.
  • Strong stakeholder management including external agencies.
  • Experience working with high-street and grocery retailers required.
  • Experience working with Medical Affairs (PAGB), and Regulatory teams preferred.
  • Commerciality, innovation, creativity, project management and a passion and flair for retail execution.

    Key skills for the Software Engineer; Java, AWS, React, Digital Project role:

    • OO Programming Experience - Java/C#/Python (low-level understanding)
    • Experience with AWS or an appetite to pick it up (some basic cloud knowledge is needed)
    • Migration from a data centre to AWS would be a huge advantage
    • Experience working on large scale systems
    • High level design experience
    • Ability to work together well in a team

    My client is a globally renowned investment bank. They are on the lookout for several developers to join them in a build-out of a business-critical cloud/AWS platform. A lot of the work will be greenfield and you'll have the opportunity to be heavily involved in how the architecture is shaped. Candidates require an in-depth understanding of low level programming as well as some understanding of cloud principles, ideally AWS.

    You will work on some of the most technical and complex design challenges as well as being surrounded by some of the best developers in the city.

    My client, a global financial services group, is on the lookout for a C# UI Developer to join their team.

    You will be sitting in the flagship team in the business, which is one of the largest international banking organisations, in their London Offices.

    - Sitting in the flagship team of one of the worlds largest international banking organisations based in Central London.
