McGregor Boyall are exclusively partnered with one of the UK's largest employers, a highly referenced brand, household name, with a global presence and sites across the world.

We've been appointed in partnership to help source a Data Visualisation/BI Developer ideally with QlikView/Qliksense experience to be based in their high-tech Bristol site.

My client is seeking an experienced and passionate BI Developer to join the team in delivering new Data Visualisations on Qlikview/Qliksense, migrated from a traditional reporting platform working on a large portfolio of projects across the business.

Additionally they're keen on someone who can help with BAU maintenance and support of their existing suite of reporting dashboards whilst the transition to Qlikview/Qliksense takes place, whilst enabling the growth of intelligence and analytics visualisation and reporting by introducing these new platforms and techniques.
Ideally, you'll be able to utilise previous and current experience to lead, coach and motivate others in the team to develop their skills. However the main objective would be as a a key Developer in the adoption of Qlikview and Qliksense.

The successful test engineer will need;

  • Good experience of developing Qlikview/Qliksense
    (However another DV tool such as Tableau or Power BI experience will be considered if you'd consider cross training to QV)
  • SQL Server Development, modelling, querying, optimisation. SQL2012 onwards preferred.
  • TSQL or SQL coding skills for data manipulations.
  • Experienced of SSRS, Crystal Reports, SSIS, SSAS highly desirable.
  • Big Data/Predictive modelling tools such as Python, R Analytics or SPSS also highly desirable.
  • Mathematical, Statistical, or Data modelling background highly desirable but not essential.
  • Solid business facing communications skills essential.

    • Financial services experience, ideally in an in-house role
