Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experience DBA with a strong desire for problem solving with an understanding of the level of security required associated with working within a financial technical company.

The role will work in partnership with the DBA, Infrastructure, Development and Test Teams to work on producing solutions to reoccurring problems and assisting members with the troubleshooting of database server performance and monitoring. As well as the producing of new SQL objects, load/stress testing and the testing/rollout of new functionality.

You'll obviously have strong experience in a similar role using SQL/ SQL Transparent Database/ HSM/ SQL 2016/ Virtualisation/ VMWare/ PowerShell/ Troubleshooting Tools, Windows Server 2012 R2/ Windows Server Clustering/ High Availability (HA)/ Automation/ SSIS/ SSRS and Index Management.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level in a relevant discipline such as Information Technology, Computer Science or similar, or have equivalent professional qualifications
