Leading financial services client is looking for a SQL Server Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role requires somebody with the engineering skill of a developer and the organisation and process skills of an administrator. The primary function of the role is to take ownership of their data estate and drive it forward in terms of Availability, Disaster Recovery, Scalability, Monitoring and Accessibility (i.e. business), including helping define their Production Azure SQL Server solution. You will own these activities; you will enjoy the satisfaction of troubleshooting complex problems whilst at the same time keeping an eye on the status of the estate. It is fast-paced, but it can allow for significant autonomy and the chance to affect change.
