My client is a rapidly expanding subsidiary within a large financial services organisation and is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead on all of their resourcing needs. They need a credible and experienced talent acquisition specialist support their business in the attraction and sourcing of top talent.

The role reports into the HR Business Partner with a dotted reporting line to the Group Head of Talent Acquisition and the role will be responsible for for driving direct talent acquisition strategies for all lateral hiring requirements, overseeing global strategy and build pipelines of niche talent for future hiring needs. This is a fast-pace and exciting environment and is a great opportunity to a self starter with high level credibility who can engage with senior stakeholders and external candidates. With a heavy technology bias, a specialist with experience of working within the technology sector or hiring specifically for technology functions within larger business would be beneficial.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with key business stakeholders to establish hiring requirements and build appropriate talent pools to support business needs
  • Define appropriate campaigns to build acquisition strategy to pipeline top talent
  • Work with senior business stakeholders to define and embed best practice policies and processes around talent acquisition, advising on appropriate strategies
  • Continue to source and develop innovative and creative sourcing channels
  • Advise and implement appropriate assessment and selection tools for roles at all levels
  • Working with the use of a recruitment Applicant Tracking System and optimising output

This role will suit a highly credible recruitment or talent acquisition partner with proven in-house experience of hiring roles within technology. You will also require:

  • Experience of embedding and running the full 360 recruitment process
  • Proven experience of leading on talent acquisition strategies along with hands on delivery against requirements
  • High level credibility and stakeholder engagement
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

There will be a lot of involvement with stakeholders and wider teams in this area so clear communications skills are a must. An Agile approach to work is also a must.

    My client is an investment bank in London and is investing heavily in their core banking platform which covers Equities, Fixed income & FX, as well as Research. They have around 30 positions ranging across AVP and VP hires.

    Their platform is Java based, but as they have 30 projects on the go, some are full stack, or more orientated around web/UI technologies such as; Angular JS, JS, React, HTML, J2EE, and some Python. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies such as Kotlin and Erlang and be involved in projects that are heavily relied on by the business and stakeholders.
