I am seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager who is passionate about recruitment to develop, implement and run of an efficient and cost-effective talent acquisition strategy. This will include all aspects of candidate attraction and selection.

This is a growing business and there for we are looking for someone who can develop the function and its capabilities. The role holder will have significant input into the design of the employer brand and promoting it across all internal and externally facing channels.

You will have line management responsibility of a Recruitment Executive.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to establish and implement the talent acquisition strategy to support the delivery of the organisations vision and people strategy.
  • Continuously review and update the Company’s recruiting and hiring policies and procedures.
  • Develop D&I strategies that will attract talent that is representative of the market and communities they work in.
  • Work closely with HR Team and Leaders to understand the essential requirements for roles, sourcing candidates, reviewing application quality.
  • Shape and structure competency and values-based interviews, carrying these out where required.
  • Sourcing and implementing effective and relevant assessments or testing.
  • Management of the recruitment budget identifying risks to HRD and Finance.
  • Production and analysis of high-quality reports on recruitment activity and its effectiveness.

Skills And Expertise

  • Experience of in-house recruitment, managing the recruitment funtion. Experience within leisure, retail, hospitality or property management sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent network and understanding of how to build brand and recruitment strategies.

    The role

    The company are expanding their cloud division and looking for DevOps Engineers to be part of their journey.

    As a DevOps Engineer, You will design and build cutting-edge infrastructure, cloud-based software products running on AWS (Amazon Web Services). You will also need knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform.

    The responsibilities

    • building and setting up new development tools and AWS infrastructure.
    • understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers.
    • working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
    • testing and examining code written by others and analysing results.
    • Work closely with key stakeholders to capture, analyze, and derive DevOps requirements
    • Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling

    Essential

    • DevOps Engineer background (or something similar)

    • AWS cloud experience (Amazon Web Services) - Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, Redshift, VPC, IAM etc

    • Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, CloudFormation

    • Kubernetes (K8S) experience

    • Coding/programming experience - Java, Python, Go, Scala

    Desirable

    • Any certificates in AWS (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator)
