We’re looking for a Team Admin Assistant/Personal Assistant to support an IT team and Director. Taking of meeting minutes, organising events and ensuring a good flow of activity across the leadership team.

You will find it incredibly energetic, fun and collaborative to work in this organisation and we’re looking for individuals who are this way inclined when it comes to work. We’re looking for somebody that will also contribute to projects and initiatives driving a positive and focused delivery culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing an effective administrative service to the IT Director and the wider department
  • Responsible for the meeting scheduling and diary management of the IT Director
  • Co-ordinate and manage the agenda for key meetings, tracking/driving task delivery and ensuring the department Leadership Team meetings are effective
  • Participate in the delivery of project work within Group IT, contributing across multiple areas
  • Responsible for the tracking of key spend within IT in London, provides the IT Director with support to formulate effective financial planning
  • Provides a reporting service to the Leadership Team on all tasks and delivery points, milestones and deadlines for a 360 view on our workload
  • Challenging the IT Director and Leadership Team to ensure a razor-like focus on the most important tasks and the delivery of these are on-time
  • Manage and run events, conferences and key meetings for IT in London

Essential Skills & Experience

  • A deep experience and understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience of using Concur system for expenses is a must
  • First-class organisation and time management skills
  • Amazing stakeholder management skills, must be able to converse freely and collaboratively with a diverse population
  • Excellent written and spoken English, must be able to generate content rather than just curate
  • Experience with working on projects and taskforces to deliver specific outcomes
  • Experience with issuing executive-level reports with concise and relevant detail
  • Experience co-ordinating an office and group of senior leaders
  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • CRM Co-ordinator
    £250 - £300 per day + INSIDE IR35

    6 month contract

    My client is in the media and broadcasting industry is seeking a CRM Co-ordinator. The role supports on the daily operation of campaigns in the email platform, setting up new emails, selecting targeting, validating quality and compliance and producing standard reporting (with support of the data analysts).

    The ideal candidate will have knowledge/expertise in the following:

    • Basic HTML, Dreamweaver, Dotmailer (or dotdigital)
    • Data handling
    • Copywriting/Proof reading

  • Scrum Master
    £80000 - £90000 per annum

    My leading investment banking client are looking to bring on an experienced Scrum Master with a background in software development.

    Candidates should have:

    • Extensive experience as a Scrum Master in a variety of different organisations/cultures.
    • Experience in a Software Product / IT Development sphere is essential (Financial preferred),
    • Expertise in Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe)
    • Expertise in servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, transparency
    • Expertise in the use of JIRA/Confluence
    • Expertise around backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, Epics/Features/Stories
    • Expert knowledge of the software development processes and understanding of Team needs within it
    • Experience of building out a Technical Agile environment (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins/TeamCity, Git/BitBucket, SonarQube)
    • Experience of the IBMi platform, RPG/SQL, Java is a bonus – people from a technical background are preferred
    • Experience of Test Automation in an Agile context a bonus
    • Professional certifications like CSM, PSM, CSPO, CSP, SA, SPC or equivalent are a bonus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
    • Knowledge of other scaled approaches discussed in the Agile space is a bonus (Nexus, LeSS, DSDM)
    • Be comfortable challenging and influencing Stakeholders including Senior Management

  • VMware / Python Developer
    £600 - £650 per day + PAYE

    VMWare / Python Developer - Automation - ESXI - BitBucket - Cloud - Bournemouth (office 2-3 days, rest WFH)

    Contract - 6 months, up to £650/day PAYE

    Global financial services client is looking for a VMware / Python Developer to join their team in Bournemouth on a contract basis. The team focus on delivering modern, distributed Infrastructure-as-a-Service (Iaas) capabilities to support the needs of business applications. Responsible for automating and delivering the platforms in support of the services, that revolve around VMware technologies. The focus is to achieve a comprehensive end-to-end delivery of components that are fully compliant and production ready.

    Skills and experience required:

    • Extensive VMware infrastructure development experience (ideally 10+years), particularly on deploying ESXi 6.5, 7.0 and products vROps, VRO, VCSA, and other virtual appliances.
    • Python development experience, particularly on automating infrastructure deployments
    • Good knowledge of deploying products using ansible and bitbucket.
    • Experience of working at an enterprise level and scale
    • Working knowledge of private cloud technologies would be beneficial.
