Test Analyst

The successful candidate will join the ever-growing Data Technology & Analytics team, who brings together data from all sources of the business. The Test Analyst will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment surrounded by the high performing team to ensure the quality of new and evolving ETL functionality to satisfy diverse business needs.

What you will be doing:

  • Define test approach, scope and coverage, being responsible for successful completion of testing within agreed timelines.
  • Liaise with the wider team of testers, developers and technical analysts and conduct peer reviews of test approach and evidence.
  • Produce test documentation and informed test estimates and ensure consideration is given to the use of automated and manual test approaches.
  • Understand and adhere to corporate, regulatory and legislative requirements.

What you will need:

  • Strong testing background, with desirable experience testing databases/data warehouses.
  • Previous experience of Netezza, Oracle or SQL Server.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools would be advantageous.
  • Ability to independently report on progress, identifying and flagging impediments immediately.

  • Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer (permanent)

    An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen within a multi-national consultancy based in the City of London. They are looking for a DevOps/SRE engineer to assist clients with the configuration and deployment of their infrastructure on GCP.

  • Java Software Engineers - Front office trading

    World-Renowned financial trading business is looking to improve and expand the number of tools available to its Traders, Quants and Sales teams in London. They are looking for strong java software engineers to build their next-gen trading technology platform and diversify their product offering to clients. No prior experience is needed within the trading technology or even finance space, but an enthusiasm to learn about financial markets is key!

    The successful candidate will be working on some of the latest technology stacks including; Open Source Java (some cases, version 11), modern containers (Kubernetes/docker), Microservices architecture, AWS cloud and other modern data tools and some machine learning components.

    There is an emphasis on agile working and a flat hierarchy, meaning that candidates at any level can shape the future strategic direction of their trading technology platform and have input into design and architecture of the codebase.

    A Java software engineer can look to receive between £60k base and £125k base plus a healthy package and bonus potential.

QA Test Engineer
