I am currently looking for a Trading Application Support Analyst (Equities/ FIX/ UNIX) join a top financial organisation based in Amsterdam. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.
Responsibilities:
Provide first level and firstclass support answering both Options and Equity platform questions and resolving Member/TPH issues related to APIs (e.g. FIX, BOE, PITCH), trading and features/function using the “Deliver Plus One” standard.
Provide timely and professional outbound communications (internal and external) servicing the Trade Desk email queue and providing customer phone support.
Onboard new clients, create new logical ports, review configuration settings, and perform order entry and market data API certification testing.
Perform root cause analysis and communicate client issues that may arise.
Provisioning internal/external user web tool access.
Testing/understanding changes to systems and functionality prior to deployment.
Experience
Experienced Application Support Analyst
Strong knowledge of Equities/ FX/ Fixed Income
Experience with Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA (or similar issue tracking tool).
Familiarity with FIX protocol and low latency trading systems.
Comfort working in a UNIX shell and/or with SQL.
Familiarity with the Agile development methodology.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Business, Financial Services, Communications, or a related discipline.
