The Role

My client is looking for a Lead Developer who can be the technical lead for scrum teams but also remain hands on and assist with application architecture/development across a range of technologies.

You will ensure that the development team tasks are managed effectively, and ensure that applications are produced that meet business requirements and meet the quality requirements.

Key skills:

  • Excellent technical knowledge with development technologies such as C#, MVC, and Javascript.
  • Experience in leading and delivering key technical projects.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to provide guidance to the team and to provide technical leadership.
  • Familiarity with modern software development best practices such as TDD, BDD, and Continuous Integration.

    The Head of Change Delivery is responsible for delivering business-wide transformation within their assigned area. The role will have ultimate accountability for management, planning and governance of change initiatives, ensuring they are aligned to the strategy and deliver value to our members and students. This will require close collaboration with other Heads of Change Delivery and stakeholders to co-ordinate change.

    On a day to day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:

    • Define the programme governance and structure to ensure deliverables are achieved within budget, responding and taking corrective measures as required
    • Identify critical business processes and drive change through Six Sigma methodology to achieve efficiencies, cost reductions and improved customer experience – taking into account mitigation of risk
    • Build strong relationships at Leadership level and across other stakeholder groups to ensure ongoing support for change programme

    Ideally, we’re looking for someone with the following:

A specialist security business is looking for a Network Security Engineer to join the team as they organically grow their firm due to demand in the market. This is an ideal role for an already experienced Network Security Engineer who has extensive hands on experience of delivering security solutions.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level in a relevant discipline such as Information Technology, Computer Science or similar, or have equivalent professional qualifications
  • Experience in a Network Security Engineer, Cyber Security Engineer role or similar position, or coming from a 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer or Network Analyst role with a broad knowledge of the tools listed
  • CCSA or CCSE certified
  • CCNA or CCNP certified
  • Strong skills with core network infrastructure including LAN, WAN and WLAN
  • Excellent knowledge of core routing and switching- MPLS, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, L3VPN
  • Solid background working with Web Application Firewalls (WAF) such as CheckPoint, Palo Alto and/or Fortinet
  • Experience with CISCO ASAs and CISCO FirePower
  • Previous work with SIEM tools such as SolarWinds, ArcSight, Splunk, LogRhythm or similar, is preferred but not essential
  • Experience working with Authentication, Password Access Management (PAM) or Identity Access Management (IAM) systems is preferred but not essential
  • Working knowledge of Linux commands is desirable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and install a range of cyber security solutions, using a range of technologies and products
  • Work on a daily shift rota, including a 1 week in 4 weekend on-call requirement
  • Provide experience in a range of technical situations, with a focus on creating a collaborative team environment and knowledge sharing culture
  • Contribute to the mentoring and training of junior colleagues
  • Visit client sites for technical installations, as and when required
