A leading financial services company seeks a Senior Java Developer to work in Stuttgart, Germany.

Therefore it is essential that all applicants have prior experience working as a Java Developer within a financial services company.

As this is a Java Developer position you will be expected to perform the following duties on a day to day basis -

  • Responsible for the inclusion and description of requirements from the departments and their administration in the IT Requirements Management Tool (JIRA)
  • Creation of technical concepts
  • Development of web services and web interfaces
  • Documentation in the knowledge management system (Confluence)
  • Participation in technical and technical tests
  • Support of second- and third-level support for technical and technical inquiries

You will also be liaising with a number of key stakeholders and separate business functions within the organisation, this is where your Java Development experience will be utilised.

Essential

  • Degree in computer science or business computer science studies or comparable training with professional experience in software development

  • Knowledge of the programming language Java

  • ideally knowledge in JEE architecture, web applications, Java frameworks - Spring & Struts, JavaScript & Ajax

  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming

  • Some exposure to working with SQL, HTML and XML

  • Excellent German and good English skills

    SEO Web Optimization Developer

    Our client is seeking an experienced SEO Web Optimization Developer to join the team based in the London.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • The client needs a technical resource who has hands-on knowledge and expertise on web optimization tasks.
    • The requirements of the job will be to conduct comprehensive technical audit of client's products and highlight significant issues & optimization problems.
    • Frame an implementation plan for solving each of these issues with clear steps.
    • Implement the solution either directly or by working closely with the client's engineering team.
    • Understand and track the results of web optimization efforts and turn them into actionable items.
