McGregor Boyall are currently recruiting for a User Experience Designer/UX Designer with experience of UX Design to work for our client, a leading Fintech company in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced UX Designer with knowledge of first-class experience to join a well-established Digital Design and Data Service team.


Based in Northampton, this role is easily commutable from Bedford, Milton Keynes, Coventry and surrounding areas.


As our successful UX Designer, you will be responsible for design, presentation, walkthrough presentations and response in a timely manner and you will have knowledge in the following areas;

Use of UX toolset such as: Adobe XD, Axure Pro or Bohemian Sketch

Strong passion for user design and industry leading products

Good knowledge of trends and design paradigms – Previous up-to date industry designs are preferred

Proficient understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android or iOS

Ability to work with business stakeholders in an Agile Environment

    The exciting start-up company are looking to expand. They are designing cutting edge technologies, which consist of medical imaging. They design software packages which analyse patient’s health using MRI/CT and Ultrasound.

    The company are helping people to diagnose cardiovascular problems such as strokes and possible heart attacks much earlier on through the cutting-edge technology they have designed.

    The Role:

    • Utilising various machine learning techniques to help enhance the product
    • Preferred coding languages are Python and R
    • Working with emerging technologies such as Tensorflow would be desirable
    • Will entail an individual who is willing to research, to enhance an understanding of medical image processing

    Experience:

    • A Masters' level degree or above in a relevant discipline
    • Extensive experience in deep learning and machine learning
    • Commercial experience in modeling and delivering image processing applications for medical purposes
    • Willing to be part of a small team and grow with the company

McGregor Boyall are currently conducting a recruitment campaign for a global organisation based in Northampton. This company is a pioneer in technology in their field and currently rivalling paypal in the daily transactions. We are in search of a Solution Architect to join their growing team.

Based in Northampton, the site is easily commutable from Coventry, Milton Keynes, Bedford and surrounding areas. Flexible working is on offer too.

As our appointed Architect you will have;

  • Previous experience in software architecture (Ideally Java, but this is not a coding role so not essential)
  • Ideally, a Financial Services background, such as Payments experience
  • Experience around Cloud technology or API’s is a bonus
