McGregor Boyall are currently recruiting for a User Experience Researcher/UX Researcher with hands-on experience of behavioral and ethnographic research to work for our client, a leading Fintech company in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced UX Researcher with knowledge of first-class experience to join a well-established Digital Design and Data Service team.

Based in Northampton, this role is easily commutable from Bedford, Milton Keynes, Coventry and surrounding areas.

As our successful UX Researcher, you will be responsible for demonstrating strong project portfolio, survey design and analysis in a timely manner and you will have knowledge in the following areas;

Attention to detail - strong qualitive and analytical capability

Research utilization – remote or online testing (Userzoom or optimal workshops)

Knowledge of task modelling and human-centered design in an Agile environment

Commercial exposure to UX visualization, design and development – preferably use of wireframing & prototyping with use of InVision or Axure

Solid understanding of mobile tech development (HTML, JavaScript or Android, iOS)

This role reports to the Head of Member Experience and will take ownership of the key interactions and experience of members across all delivery channels.

    You will:

    • Identify and deliver continuous improvements to their customer’s experience – through product change, service improvements and better communications.
    • Ensure that the development of their customer experience is in line with their propositional objectives and brand values.
    • Develop and maintain maps of key customer journeys and a programme of continuous improvements to the customer experience
    • Commission customer insight and analysis to support investigation into issues experienced by customers, and to develop evidence-based proposals for change.
    • Assure the customer experience design for both product design and support/guidance content across all channels.
