Key duties:

  • Support the Director in defining long term Audit plans for the function
  • Ensure smooth accurate delivery of audit work, working closely with junior members of the team
  • Review improve Audit procedures, updating them in the client manual
  • Create accurate Audit reports
  • Manage end-to-end Audits across the tea, playing a key role in the entire process
  • Provide complete accurate information to relevant business areas

Desired skills:

  • Strong IT Audit background (information & technology risk, security, applications, , Info Tech Operations, resilience or infrastructure)
  • CISA / ISACA / CISM / CISSP / CRISC
  • Understanding of emerging technology interest in new products
  • Recent experience of leading relevant audits
  • Experience of operating at Senior Manager / VP level for a number of years

    Python Cloud Developer – Contract – Investment Bank – £650/£700pd

    Leading global Investment Bank based in the city require a python developer to work on the build out of a new cloud-based python platform, with SQL database development involved too. Much of the work will be working on newly released platforms, rather than legacy systems and using the latest in Python technology alongside SQL/oracle databases.

    The team offer a dynamic and flexible working environment for python developers from both inside and outside of the financial services industry. The project is still in its early stages and has plenty of work left to be done, over 12 months of work left in the pipeline.

    The successful Python Developer can look to receive between £650 and £700 per day, plus working from home benefits

My client, a leading Investment Bank are seeking an AVP Internal Auditor to join their Spread Markets: businesses audit team based in London, which includes Credit Trading, Syndicate, and Securitised Product Group businesses. The auditor must hail from a banking background with experience in being part of a team that delivers audits in Capital Markets. The individual must also be an experienced professional with strong relationship management capabilities and a strong understanding of business risks & controls.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be responsible for delivering audits across the group function.
  • Develop an understanding of various business functions while working closely with stakeholders.
  • Have the opportunity to work on other audits related to other Corporate and Investment Banking areas across the business.

You must:

  • Have experience delivering end-to-end audits.
  • Have strong capability to manage/build new relationships with stakeholders and colleagues across the business.
  • Possess ability to work confidently as part of an audit team or individually.
  • Be motivated to learn and develop your knowledge on various Investment Banking products.
