I am currently looking for an Windows Production Support Engineer to join a top investment bank based in London. The role will be a contract role and will be working on a new project within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

My client is looking for an expert Production Engineer on Windows technologies to handle the implementation and integration of Business critical Client Facing Applications, mainly in project mode.

The person will need to have strong web architecture and design experience to build a performant and reliable platform running 24/24.

    Role Overview:

    An experienced core java developer is required to join a rapidly expanding Fixed Income e trading team in London. The role will involve a greenfield re-architecture of their pricing platform as well as other functionality. Given the seniority of the role you will be expected to play an active role in discussions around design and architecture, as well as having the opportunity to provide technical leadership. The role will also provide extensive exposure to the front office/trading, where you will have the opportunity to work directly with the Quants on their pricing models.

    The successful candidate can look to receive between £100k and £125k, plus benefits and bonus.

I am currently looking for an experienced Oracle Financials Support Analyst to join a top investment bank based in London. The role will be a contract role and will be working on a new project within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage inbound issues and problems raised by Finance on the matters concerning financial accounting in the GL and sub ledgers within the Oracle e-business suite
  • Analyse root cause and provide feedback to end users on status and progress
  • Ensuring due diligence is applied and rigorously tested prior to releasing to users for UAT
  • Assist users in their quality assurance and ensure changes undergo formal UAT before being rolled out production
  • Provide documentation according to application implementation methodology standards
  • Assess vendor-based changes on the system and participating in rolling out patch updates, security updates, disaster recovery testing

Skills and Experience:

  • Have experience supporting and configuring modules in Oracle R12 e-business suite covering Financials, Procure-to-Pay
  • Have some experience working with iExpenses & Project Costing and be familiar with the key concepts and the integration points with Financials
  • Have light development capabilities using the Oracle 12c database using SQL*Plus & PL/SQL
  • Demonstrable experience working with Oracle development tools such as Workflow & XML Publisher, etc.
  • Be familiar working business intelligence tools such as OBIEE, Discoverer, Business Objects, QlikView

Detailed analysis of issues that need escalation to L3

Day to day management of a complex application suite, improving stability and performance over time

On call L2 support. Able to liaise with remote teams

Perform low complexity development tasks if/when support tasks allow it
