My client is a global blue chip seeking an experienced Workday Business Analyst for Time and Absence Solutions. They are looking for someone to support the organisation on an initial 6-month contract. This person will be responsible for assisting with the definition of the global requirements for time and absence to support Workday configuration, reviewing localization requests against global solutions and working with the integrations team to ensure that integration patterns involving time and absence data and systems meet business requirements.

Workday is preferred.

Key accountabilities

  • To assist the Workday project team as a point of contact for Time and Absence for assigned countries within the Workday Transformation Program at a day-to-day project level
  • Responsible for documenting the agreed business requirements (at a high-level) for assigned countries as a means of initiating new requests. Checking these requirements against global strategy and project principles and highlighting gaps.
  • Approve final designs/solutions and develop/execute test scenarios to validate the delivered build product
  • Responsible for assisting in deployment integrity when deploying solutions, to ensure that developed outsourced solutions meet the functional needs of the business and map to the overall design landscape
  • Partner with country HR Operations to document complete and robust business requirements and articulate them to IT&S/HRIS for sizing (challenging estimates where necessary)
  • Supply on-going communication to the business
  • Ensure involvement at key points in project life cycle for system enhancements and time rollouts by:
    • Coordinate discussions with all appropriate parties (clients, end users, technical team, global team, etc.)
    • Gather and document functional requirements
    • Define Testing strategy and scripts
    • Perform appropriate level of testing as required and review test results
    • Define Rollout, cutover, training and communication requirements
  • Sign-off and integration planning

Essential experience and job requirements

  • Deep functional expertise in HR and Time (payroll preferred)
  • Experience with Integration of time systems with Workday
  • Knowledge of batch file technology and interface processing a plus
  • 5 years or more experience in HR and Time systems with preferential emphasis on our Global Time Vendor solutions and Workday or similar ERP / Time solutions
  • Experience in working with Vendors and file transmissions to support the outsourced process
  • Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, Time and business operations
  • Experienced in working with global stakeholders and team members
  • Proven success in managing Deployment Projects in multiple countries with multiple vendors
  • Proven experience in managing small to large and complex level projects with multiple work streams running concurrently
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to work in pressurized environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work at strategic and tactical / operational levels
  • Ability to work non-standard business hours to work with global team members and within deployment timelines
  • Proficient in use of MS Products (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

Desirable criteria & qualifications

  • A detailed understanding of the integration of HR and Payroll/Time
  • Experience with Kronos
  • Experience in working in a HR operational environment
  • Experience in working with HR, Time and payroll data, including analysis and report creation
  • Strong Project management ability
  • Experience with integration between HR, Payroll and Time systems

  • Equities Asset Management Java Lead - Director Level - £160k
    £130000 - £160000 per annum bonus

    Equities Asset Management Java Technical Lead – Director Level – up to £160k base

    A leading Asset/Wealth Manager based in London are continuing an aggressive expansion of their Equities Trading platform. Because of this expansion they require a hands on technical lead to manage and continue the growth of the London technology trading stack. The role will involve; core java development, design and architecture, code review and general day to day management duties.

    The team work closely with Quants, Traders and other business critical stakeholders. The team itself are one of the most innovative within the organisation and operate within a hugely dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

    The successful candidate can look to receive between £130k and £160k base plus a healthy bonus.

  • C Quant/Strats Developer - Equities Trading - Associate/VP
    £70000 - £120000 per annum bonus

    C Quant/Strats Developer required - Associate/VP - Equities Trading - Business Reporting - £70k-£120k

    A market leading Quant/Strats team at a tier one investment bank require an exceptional C developer, ideally with some experience of Python to join their Equities Trading team. The team themselves work on the Equities Trading quantitative models and report dsirectly into the business. The role will provide the platform for a strong technologist and mathematician, to face off to Quants and Traders and work closely with them to implement cutting edge C models/solutions.

    This team require both exceptional technological skills (C on Windows) and mathematical/problem solving abilities (PhD in Mathematics or related subject highly desirable). Also a strong understanding of Derivative products, ideally Equities required.

    The succesful candidate can look to recieve between £70,000 and £120,000 base salary, either Associate or VP level (dependant on experience)

    This will also be backed by a bonus and package funded by the trading desk themselves.
