Power BI Developer - 12 Month FTC

📍 Remote (UK-based)

An established and rapidly growing UK EdTech organisation is looking to hire a Power BI Developer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the continued evolution of its data and reporting capabilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative business intelligence function and play a key role in shaping how data is used across the organisation to drive decision-making.

The Role

You will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality dashboards and reports, working closely with stakeholders across the business to translate requirements into meaningful insights.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports

• Transforming raw data into structured, usable datasets

• Developing robust data models and writing efficient DAX

• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and refine reporting needs

• Ensuring data accuracy, performance, and usability across reporting solutions

• Supporting wider BI initiatives and continuous improvement

Required Experience

• Experience developing dashboards in Power BI

• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modelling

• Ability to work with multiple data sources (e.g. SQL, Excel, APIs)

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Exposure to data governance or data quality frameworks

• Experience in a multi-site or growing organisation

• Microsoft certifications in Power BI
