This is a fantastic opportunity to step into an all-encompassing billing role with international exposure and the chance to truly make an impact.
The Role
The business is seeking a Billing Specialist who can take ownership of a diverse billing portfolio. You'll be supporting multiple jurisdictions, working closely with internal stakeholders, and helping refine and improve processes across the billing function.
Every day is varied, and the team works together seamlessly to ensure deadlines are met - a supportive environment where everyone pitches in and rolls up their sleeves.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume monthly billing
- Handle both standard billing and e-billing through various platforms.
- Apply strong VAT knowledge across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaborate closely with finance, partners, EAs and other stakeholders.
- Circulate WIP reports and assist with follow-ups.
- Onboarding and uploading bills to the clients' E-Billing Platforms
- Adapt to different office processes and ensure accuracy across all regions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes and contribute new ideas
- Sub-Contractor Timesheet Uploads
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years' billing experience within professional services
- Strong understanding of VAT rules across global jurisdictions.
- Experience with e-billing systems and high-volume environments.
- Confident communicator who enjoys stakeholder interaction.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach and eagerness to add value.
- Ability to manage peaks and troughs of workload with accuracy and composure.
The Team & Culture
You'll be joining a small, friendly billing team of three (including the hiring manager). The culture is supportive, down-to-earth and genuinely collaborative. The wider finance team sits together, offering plenty of interaction and cross-functional insight. This role is perfect for someone looking to carve out their own space, bring ideas to life and grow within a stable, forward-thinking organisation.
