Facilities Officer - Professional Services | City of London
£33,000 | Full-time | 5 days on site
We are working with a well-established professional services firm in the City who are looking to appoint a Facilities Officer to join their workplace operations team on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some existing facilities or workplace experience who is looking to develop further within a fast-paced, professional environment with genuine room for progression.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of a busy office environment, ensuring the workplace is safe, functional, and operating smoothly across multiple floors.
Responsibilities will include:
- Daily walkthroughs of the building, including multiple floors
- Managing ticketing system and requests.
- Oversee office maintenance and repairs.
- Understaind Health and Saftey and conducting checks.
- Maintenance checks and reporting issues
- Assisting with contractors on-site and escorting them where required
- Supporting reception and wider workplace operations
- Handling a variety of reactive facilities tasks simultaneously
- Liaising with internal teams including Operations, Office Management, and Facilities leadership
- Ensuring a calm, professional, and efficient workplace experience for staff and visitors
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Some prior exposure to facilities, workplace services, or office operations
- Experience working in a professional services environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once
- A flexible, hands-on approach - including being comfortable walking floors, carrying out checks, and assisting practically on-site
- A proactive and reliable attitude with strong attention to detail
