Overview
We are hiring an IT Delivery Lead / Project Manager (AVP level) with 2-6 years of hands-on delivery experience to join a major banking client on a significant Salesforce transformation programme.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked on software implementation projects and is ready to step into a larger, more complex enterprise environment. You will lead delivery activity across multiple technology workstreams, working closely with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
Banking experience is a bonus but not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver end-to-end Salesforce and software implementation workstreams, ensuring successful planning, execution, and release.
Manage sprint planning, backlogs, delivery roadmaps, and release schedules.
Coordinate with engineering, architecture, QA, business analysts, and product teams.
Maintain RAID logs and provide regular delivery updates to senior stakeholders.
Ensure delivery aligns with technology governance, quality standards, and project controls.
Support system integrations and technical dependencies across teams.
Identify risks and drive mitigation actions.
Mentor junior team members and support continuous improvement of delivery practices.
Skills & Experience Required
2-6 years of experience in IT Project Management, Delivery Management, or similar.
Experience delivering software/IT implementations, ideally CRM or Salesforce-related (any large enterprise system also suitable).
Strong understanding of Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and hybrid environments.
Ability to work confidently with technical teams (developers, architects, testers).
Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage delivery in matrixed teams.
Banking or regulated-industry experience helpful but not required.
Delivery or PM certifications (Agile, Scrum, PMP, Prince2, SAFe) advantageous.
