Modular Construction Project Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Modular Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery and installation of modular units on large-scale data centre construction projects.
Acting as the key on-site representative, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning
- Support the development of project schedules, objectives, and deliverables
- Identify and forecast required resources (labour, materials, logistics)
- Coordination & Communication
- Act as the main liaison between the general contractor and project teams
- Ensure all stakeholders understand roles, responsibilities, and timelines
- Coordinate daily site activities to meet deadlines
- Budget Management
- Monitor project costs and track expenditures
- Manage variations and present additional costs
- Reporting & Documentation
- Provide regular progress reports
- Document key decisions, risks, and issues
- Participate in daily and weekly project meetings
- Risk & Issue Management
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Resolve on-site challenges quickly and effectively
Requirements
- Degree in:
- Industrial Engineering, Electromechanics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project coordination or management
- Proven experience in at least 2 data centre construction/installation projects
Key Skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Fluent in English
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to adapt quickly and make decisions under pressure
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Strong team player, working closely with international teams and subcontractors
