My client are a leader within the Global Financial Services sector.The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics.

They are seeking a Head of New Business Sales - Sell Side to join them on a permanent basis. As a New Business Sales Manager you will be specializing in their Buy Side client segment, you will be at the heart of our growth initiative, focusing on capturing and expanding new revenue opportunities in financial data intelligence. This role is designed for driven individuals looking to leverage their industry knowledge to shape the future of financial intelligence. You'll be strategically positioned to connect with key decision-makers across high-profile clients, driving new business in a company poised to make major strides in market share.

Ideal candidate:

    • Capital Markets Experience: Eperience in capital markets is key, particularly those who have sold data to both buy-side and sell-side clients. This expertise is vital for the new business sales roles.
    • Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, particularly within the Sell Side sector (e.g. banks, broker-dealers, exchanges, etc), showcasing a deep understanding of the industry landscape and client needs.
    • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets, demonstrating a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive business growth.

Responsibility:

  • Proactively prospect, qualify, and secure high-value business opportunities from new clients where no historical relationship exists, effectively managing and growing a robust sales pipeline.

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify client pain points, goals, and requirements, positioning our suite of products and solutions as key tools to meet these objectives.

  • Work seamlessly with SDRs to ensure an efficient handoff process and strategic follow-up on pre-qualified leads, optimising the client journey from initial contact to deal close.

  • Deliver impactful presentations tailored to each client's unique needs, supported by deep industry insights and expert product knowledge to build trust and drive engagement.

  • Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities, managing leads, pipeline health, and account status within the CRM to ensure transparency and data integrity.

This is a permanent role paying $200,000 + OTE $500,000 - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Please note, candidates must have right to work and be located in the country of hire.
