Product Manager - AI Legal Tech Implementation

Company Overview
A well-established, independent IT services provider with a strong focus on employee retention and development. The company has a close-knit, collaborative culture and a team of around 70 people. Based in Central London, they operate a hybrid model with three days a week in the office. Their reputation is built on a straightforward, customer-first approach, primarily serving clients in the legal sector, including long-standing partnerships with legal chambers.

Why They're Hiring
To diversify their service offering and future-proof the business, the company is transitioning into a product-led model. They've developed an AI-powered solution-leveraging large language model technology-to help legal professionals manage documentation-heavy workloads securely and efficiently.

The Role
The AI product has been developed by a small engineering team and is already in use with positive client feedback. The next step is to bring in a Product Manager to lead client-facing implementation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking over client relationships post-initial engagement
  • Supporting the sales process
  • Leading implementation and onboarding
  • Delivering training and creating high-quality user documentation

This is not a traditional roadmap-driven product role. Instead, it focuses on implementation, customer engagement, and communication. The product will evolve alongside AI advancements, but the Product Manager won't be responsible for a fixed roadmap.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience in small businesses or start-ups, comfortable with hands-on work
  • Strong communication and documentation skills-attention to detail is critical
  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma (or similar) to produce polished user guides
  • Project management and training experience
  • No prior AI experience required-training will be provided

Due to the urgency of the role we anticipate a 2 week turn round from initial interview to offer. Candidates who are immediately avalable or on a one month notice will be considered.
