Project Manager - Customer Experience

Duration: 6-months (possible extensions)
Location: Gaydon (hybrid)
Day rate: circa £250 (inside ir35)

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of the CEX Unity programme-a key initiative bringing together multiple CEX workstreams into a single, aligned operating model. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role where you'll help drive momentum, manage complexity, and ensure delivery stays on track.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the end-to-end delivery plan for CEX Unity, ensuring milestones and interdependencies are clearly managed.
  • Coordinating activity across Business Analysts, Change Analysts, Organisation Design, People Partners and CEX project leads.
  • Facilitating cross-functional collaboration across CEX teams and with Regional, Market and wider Commercial/Enterprise stakeholders.
  • Tracking and managing risks, issues and dependencies, escalating proactively where required.
  • Supporting the setup and running of programme governance and cadence meetings.
  • Creating and maintaining project artefacts including project plans, RAID logs, dashboards and project charters.
  • Supporting planning and preparation for phased implementations, transitions and go-lives, ensuring alignment across the programme.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven project management experience within transformation or system integration programmes.
  • Strong delivery mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with organisation design, change management and CEX-related initiatives.
  • Proficiency in project delivery tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Confident workshop facilitation and cross-functional coordination skills.

Desirable Attributes

  • Calm under pressure with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience in automotive, digital or customer experience environments is a plus.
