Senior IT Contract & Commercial Manager

Preferred Locations: York, Bristol, or Norwich (Hybrid - 2 days/week in office)
Salary: Up to £70,000 + benefits

Full-time | Permanent

Our large financial service client is seeking a seasoned Senior IT Contract Manager to join our high-performing Contract & Commercial team. This is a strategic role focused on managing supplier relationships and governance across critical IT services, including cloud hosting and cybersecurity.

You'll be part of a Centre of Excellence-type environment, working with trusted suppliers and collaborating with senior stakeholders across the business. This is not a sourcing or renewals role-it's about driving value, ensuring compliance, and building strong supplier partnerships.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own and manage one or more strategic IT contracts across their lifecycle.
  • Lead supplier governance and ensure alignment with regulatory and risk frameworks.
  • Support major change programmes and contract variations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including C-level leaders.
  • Provide expert advice on supplier performance, risk, and operational resilience.
  • Contribute to a standardised, value-driven approach to contract management.

What We're Looking For

  • 8-10 years' experience in contract management, ideally within Financial Services or another regulated industry.
  • Strong background in vendor/supplier management and third-party risk.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex governance processes and drive strategic outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, professional mindset with the ability to flex between structured governance and dynamic project support.

Why Join Them?

  • Be part of a focused, collaborative team with a reputation as trusted advisors.
  • Work in a role that blends governance rigour with strategic impact.
  • Help shape supplier relationships during a period of transformation and merger integration.
  • Enjoy a flexible working model with meaningful office collaboration.
