Looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to work on business-critical trading technology platforms within the fixed income domain. This is a contract opportunity with a leading global investment bank, offering the chance to contribute to high-impact systems that support front-office pricing, risk, and electronic trading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for fixed income trading and analytics.
- Ensure low-latency, high-throughput performance in production environments.
- Collaborate with front-office stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of professional experience in core Java development.
- Strong background in multi-threaded, low-latency, high-performance systems.
- Experience in fixed income products such as bonds, swaps, futures, repos, or credit instruments.
- Familiarity with pre-trade analytics, pricing, and/or electronic trading platforms.
Highly desirable:
- Knowledge of algo-trading, smart execution, or auto-hedging strategies.
- Exposure to ION Trading software or similar market connectivity platforms.
