Technology & Operations Executive Recruiter
Location: Glasgow (hybrid working available - 3 days on-site)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technology & Operations Executive Recruiter at Vice President level to deliver world-class executive hiring services for senior leadership roles. Acting as a trusted advisor to Technology and Operations leadership, you will own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for Director and Managing Director level appointments, providing a premium, consultative recruitment experience to both stakeholders and candidates.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role operating in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. You will leverage deep market knowledge, direct sourcing expertise and strategic talent pipelining to secure top-tier executive talent across technology and operations functions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver executive recruitment strategies aligned to business priorities
Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior leadership roles, from role scoping through to offer negotiation
Directly source executive-level talent through proactive market mapping, networking and research
Build and maintain robust talent pipelines to meet current and future hiring needs
Partner closely with senior leaders, HR Business Partners and Reward teams to deliver critical hires
Provide expert market insight, guidance and challenge to hiring stakeholders
Deliver compelling job adverts and recruitment marketing materials
Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new executive hires
Track and report on recruitment performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement
Manage relationships with executive search firms and professional networks where required
Demonstrate strong risk awareness and adherence to governance and control frameworks

In this role, you will:
Operate as a subject matter expert in executive recruitment for Technology & Operations
Influence strategy, drive change and contribute to long-term organisational outcomes
Advise senior stakeholders on talent, organisational design and leadership capability
Build trusted partnerships across the business through strong influencing and negotiation skills
Apply sophisticated analytical thinking to solve complex recruitment challenges
Support risk management and control standards within your area of responsibility
Collaborate across HR and business teams to deliver aligned, high-quality outcomes
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience hiring executive-level Technology & Operations leaders, within financial services
- Strong experience working in large matrix financial services organisations.
Strong track record in direct sourcing.
In-house recruitment experience within complex, matrixed organisations
Deep understanding of technology and operations leadership roles in banking or regulated environments
Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills
Ability to operate with credibility and confidence at the executive level
