URGENT HIRE - C# .Net Developer - Contract - 6 months - Canada

Overview:

A top-tier European consultancy is urgently looking for a C# .NET Developer with strong DevOps skills to join their distributed team. This is a fully remote position for candidates based in Ontario, Canada, supporting a European client across enterprise-grade application development and deployment pipelines. Candidates must be able to start by 07/28. Salary ranges $75-$100 CAD per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust C# .NET applications (including .NET Core/.NET 6+)
• Collaborate with cross-functional European teams on new features and system improvements
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support infrastructure-as-code using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Maintain and optimize cloud deployments (Azure or AWS preferred)
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in C# .NET development
• Strong understanding of modern .NET frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, .NET 6/7)
• Hands-on DevOps experience: CI/CD, containerization (Docker), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, ARM)
• Familiarity with Azure (preferred) or AWS cloud services
• Experience with Git, automated testing, and deployment workflows
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with a remote European team
• Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment
• Must be based in Ontario, Canada and available to start Monday (07/28)
