The Opportunity


We are working with a leading professional services organisation that is looking to hire a Manager within its Risk & Regulatory Advisory team in Dublin.
The team works with Financial Services organisations across Ireland, helping clients navigate evolving regulatory requirements, strengthen their risk and compliance frameworks and deliver complex regulatory change and remediation programmes.
This is a client-facing role suited to someone with experience across Risk, Regulatory Risk, Regulatory Compliance or Risk Advisory within Financial Services or professional services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise Financial Services clients on regulatory, risk and compliance matters.
  • Support the design, enhancement and implementation of risk and regulatory frameworks.
  • Deliver regulatory change, transformation and remediation projects.
  • Interpret local and European regulatory requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
  • Support clients through regulatory reviews, inspections and broader regulatory engagements.
  • Assess and enhance governance, risk management, controls, policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to regulatory strategy and provide technical insight on emerging requirements.
  • Support business development activities, proposals and client relationship management.
  • Manage projects and workstreams, including planning, delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.

Experience We're Looking For


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Several years' experience within Financial Services, consulting, advisory or a related professional services environment.
  • A background in Enterprise Risk, Regulatory Risk, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Advisory or Risk Consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of Local and/or European financial services regulation.
  • Experience delivering regulatory change, transformation, remediation or risk framework projects.
  • Understanding of areas such as risk governance, risk frameworks, risk appetite, conduct, consumer protection, AML, payments or insurance regulation.
  • Strong analytical, project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working directly with senior client stakeholders.
  • The ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and communicate them clearly to clients.

The Person


This role would suit someone currently operating at Manager or Senior Consultant level who wants to take on greater responsibility across client engagements and develop their career within a leading Risk & Regulatory Advisory practice.
You should be comfortable operating in a client-facing environment, managing multiple priorities and working with senior stakeholders to solve complex risk and regulatory challenges.
