Senior Audit Associate

This role will allow you to be an integral part of my client's specialist division focused on auditing, advising, and supporting a diverse range of charities and not-for-profit organisations (NFPs). From membership bodies to international NGOs, arts & culture charities to academies, and more, you'll play a crucial role in a fulfilling environment where your expertise and passion makes a tangible difference.

My client is pleased to offer flexible working arrangements, including the option to work on a term-time basis. This provides excellent flexibility while ensuring you can provide valuable support during our busiest periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting audits for a wide range of not-for-profit entities, including charities and educational organisations.
  • Providing comprehensive accounting services and guidance to our clients.
  • Preparation of accounts, including consolidated accounts, utilising both manual and computerised accounting systems.
  • Identifying and recommending improvements to enhance clients' accounting systems and controls.
  • Supervising, briefing, and reviewing the work of junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification, or part-qualified.
  • Experience in audit planning, preparation of statutory accounts, and completing full audits.
  • Strong preference for audit work.
  • Genuine passion for supporting charity and NFP clients.
  • Professional communication skills with a warm and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to effectively review and provide guidance to junior team members.
