Audit Manager/Senior Manager

At my clients esteemed firm, they have a specialist team dedicated to auditing, advising, and supporting a diverse range of charities and not-for-profit organizations (NFPs). Comprising nearly a quarter of their workforce, this team works with a wide spectrum of clients, including membership bodies, social enterprises, international NGOs, arts and culture charities, academies, care homes, holy orders, and more.
They are currently seeking a flexible and dedicated individual to join their team as a Charity & Not-for-Profit Audit Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals looking to make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexibility in their work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of charity and NFP sector clients
- Liaise with Directors/Partners and clients regarding forthcoming assignments
- Brief audit teams, supervise their work, and conduct reviews
- Review statutory (and other) accounts, organizing their preparation and issuance
- Provide technical guidance to staff and resolve queries as instructed by clients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients, preferably within the charity, NFP, or education sectors
- Passion for supporting charity and NFP clients
- Professional communication style with a warm and friendly approach
- ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent
- Enjoy supporting and developing junior team members
- Ability to build rapport and relationships with colleagues, team members, and clients
- Thrive in busy environments while maintaining a calm and focused demeanor
