Quant Systems: Systems Engineer

A leading investment and technology development firm is searching for a quant systems engineer to join their Quant Systems Group, an engineering team responsible for providing high performance trading and research infrastructure.

Your responsibilites will include working on a wide variety of technology initiatives in a distributed computing environment, such as workload scheduling design and implementation, fleet management, clustered file system design and operation, software design and life cycle (SDLC), kernel and network performance tuning for low-latency and high-throughput applications, and metrics collection and data mining analysis.

A successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• An impressive educational background with either a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. in a technical field (e.g.,math, statistics, physics, engineering, or computer science).
• At least 3 years of experience within a similar field.
• Knowledge of linux-based systems and networking.
• Expert knowledge of Python, Golang or Rust.
• Experience working directly with PMs and researchers is preferred.

The annual base salary for this position will lie between $200,000- 250,000 plus a substantial year end bonus.
